The proposal, called Aequorea, consists of villages developed with 3D printers, which will use turbines to create energy from water; bioreactors will recycle organic waste and biogasoline will neutralize acidification. In other words, it would be a totally self-sufficient space that would use renewable energy from the sun, wind and sea.
According to the author, the goal of the village population would be the exploration of abyssal areas, as well as the acceleration of innovation and the democratization of renewable energies, among others. These proposals are especially useful since they could be put into practice today, when the world faces the threat of global warming.
